The Facility

The main barn at Travelda Farm was completed and opened in 2007.  Two separate, 12-foot-wide aisles, each accommodating 18 horses, feature the following amenities:

  • 12’ x 12’ rubber-matted stalls, each with individual lighting, a sliding exterior window and mounted fan for air circulation in warmer months.  Bedding is straw.

  • Spacious tack room (one on each aisle) with fixed saddle and bridle racks and individual tack lockers.

  • Well-lit wash/grooming bays (two on each aisle), each individually equipped with hot/cold water access.

  • Feed room (one on each aisle) with prep and supplement storage areas.

  • Loft space for equipment and off-season blanket storage.

  • Open, airy aisle design with large, dual-end, double doors for maximum ventilation, access and monitoring.

The barn’s two aisles are each connected via covered breezeway to a fully lit 80’ x 180’ indoor arena, with insulated ceiling, which features:

  • Premium, GGT footing, worked daily.

  • 13 6’ x 7’ windows and 5 exterior doors to provide abundant natural light and maximum air flow.

  • 3 rows of LED lights.

  • Full perimeter kick boards.

  • Mirrors to optimize training.

Boarders and guests have access to a comfortable, heated lounge, situated between the barn’s two aisles, which includes a full bath and kitchen, seating area and TV, wireless Internet access and the farm’s business office.  The lounge also affords a view of both outdoor jumping and dressage arenas.  Living quarters for the barn manager are located adjacent to the lounge, ensuring that personnel are on site as often as possible.

The two outdoor arenas are situated next to each other on the opposite end of the barn from the indoor.  Both rings are regularly maintained and afford excellent drainage and southern exposures for all-weather riding.  The larger of the two is available for casual riding, schooling and lessons and is typically set up for jumping with a variety of fences.  The smaller ring is also available for schooling and lessons and is permanently configured with a regulation (20m x 60m) dressage rail.

A perinate wood 70' round pen with GGT footing and mowed riding paths around the property are additional areas to enjoy with your horse.

New for 2022 we have installed a 6-horse exerciser great for warming up, cooling down and rehabs!

Travelda is located amidst 50 acres of gently rolling hills with 11 oak-board-fenced paddocks, ranging is size from .5 to 2.5 acres.  All horses receive generous daily, year-round turnout – weather permitting – in compatible groups or individually, depending on the needs of both horse and owner.  Perimeter trails and a large grass field afford opportunity for hacking out and conditioning.  In addition, the 123-acre Bucks County Horse Park is a convenient 20-minute drive from the Farm.

Our large parking lot has ample space for both car parking and trailer storage.
